A report from the Daily Mirror (via TWTD) has claimed that Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton is keen on a reunion with playmaker Alan Judge, who currently plays for newly relegated Ipswich Town.
The Daily Mirror has claimed that Queens Park Rangers are interested in signing Ipswich Town attacking midfielder Alan Judge this summer.
Judge played under new QPR boss Warburton during his time at Brentford and the former Bees boss is now reportedly interested in linking up with the 31-year-old once again.
Judge suffered relegated to League One with Ipswich Town in the 2018/19 season, playing 19 times for the club after joining from fellow Championship side Brentford in the January transfer window. And with a season in the third tier awaiting him and his teammates, Championship sides could look to tempt him away from the club this summer.
A move away from Portman Road for Judge does seem unlikely, however. The Republic of Ireland international only put pen to paper on a new contract with Ipswich Town in April, which will see him stay at the club until the summer of 2021. That alongside QPR’s ongoing financial troubles could hinder their chances of bringing Judge to the club this summer.
Judge has amassed plenty of experience in the Championship and League One over the course of his career. Playing for Blackburn Rovers, Plymouth Argyle, Notts County, Brentford and Ipswich Town, Judge has played 192 Championship games and 123 League One games, scoring 48 goals and providing 63 assists in his 317 senior career appearances.
