Champions League finalists in talks with Fulham duo

Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Fulham brothers Ryan and Steven Sessegnon.

Spurs are hopeful of landing the duo on a double deal this summer, as per a report by Football Insider.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who play Liverpool in the Champions League final in Madrid tonight, have not made a signing since January 2018 but that is set to change over the coming months.

Spurs have been long-term admirers of Ryan Sessegnon. The 19-year-old can play as either a left-back or left winger and has accumulated over 100 games so far in his career for Fulham.

Ryan, who is an England Under-21 international, is set to leave the Cottagers this summer following their relegation to the Championship. He scored a combined 20 goals in the last two seasons in the second tier.

He then made 30 appearances for the Craven Cottage club in the Premier League this past campaign, chipping in with two goals.

His twin brother, Steven, is also on the radar of Spurs. He has only played six times for Fulham’s first-team but is still seen as a promising talent.

He made his debut for the Whites in a League Cup tie against Wycombe Wanderers in August 2017. The right-back has also represented England all youth levels from U16 to U19.

Signing Ryan and Steven Sessegnon would be a shred move by Spurs as they are two players with long and very promising careers ahead of them. Their focus will be on getting their hands on the Champions League tonight first and foremost though.
