Leeds United

Five Loan signings Leeds United could cast their eyes on.

With the likes of Izzy Brown only making two substitute appearances in the previous season and a broken leg for potential goalkeeping starter Jamal Blackman, Leeds United only had one signing in the loan market make an impact, Jack Harrison.

Owner Andrea Radrizanni has confirmed he will look to utilise the loan market this season and Leeds will be hoping for more luck in this area. We take a look at five signings who could help Leeds in their pursuit of Premier League football.

Dwight Gayle

Having been loaned out from Newcastle to West Brom last season Gayle is the perfect example of clinical finishing, something Leeds sorely missed at vital points towards the end of the previous season.

Wages could possibly be a hurdle but with 23 goals in 39 starts for West Brom he could certainly be worth the financial gamble.

Mason Holgate

Another player on loan at the Hawthorns last season, Holgate put in some impressive performances and at just 22 years old he could provide vital back up in the centre of defence.

Holgate managed 1 goal in his 19 appearances last term and could look to add to last season’s tally.

Charly Musonda

With 3 senior appearances for Chelsea, Musonda could look to add some attacking flair left open by the return of Jack Harrison to Manchester City. The Belgian U21 international can play either as an attacking midfielder or alternatively on the wing, certainly giving Leeds options.

Mason Mount

Another player who has showed promise this season on loan in the Championship, Leeds are well aware of the abilities of Mount. Although only finding the net 8 times in 35 appearances this season, the 20 year old most definitely shows the potential that he’s only just getting started.

Kasey Palmer

With a previous Play off winners medal with rivals Huddersfield, The Englishman has certainly shown ability in the attacking third. Palmer managed 3 goals in 29 appearances for both Blackburn and Bristol City in 18/19, helping the latter with a goal on his debut and assisting in a late attempted push for the play offs.
