Graham Potter has left Swansea City for Brighton and Hove Albion, as announced by their official club website.
The 44-year-old took charge of the Swans last summer but has left after just a season in favour of a move up to the Premier League.
Potter, who played for the likes of York City and Macclesfield Town in his playing days, made his name as a manager in Sweden with Östersunds. He spent eight years there and guided them to two promotions, Svenska Cupen and the Europa League.
His achievements in Scandinavia caught the eye of many clubs in the Football League but it was Swansea who gave him the opportunity first.
Potter’s Swans finished 10th last season and he did well with the Welsh side considering the off field problems they had. He gave a young players like Matt Grimes, George Byers, Daniel James and Connor Roberts first-team opportunities and they have all flourished under his guidance.
His tactics consist of a possession-based style of play that is attacking and attractive to watch.
Swansea fans will be disappointed he has left. Here is how their fans have reacted on Twitter to his move to Brighton today-
Can't blame him for moving considering the lack of investment, ambition and the fact Swans management are selling off any players with a hint of talent

No idea where we go from here now
Losing Potter is a massive blow for the club because under the circumstances he did a good job
While these owners are in charge of OUR club we won’t be successful #Swans #YanksOut

Terrible news. All the development down the drain and I can only imagine how many players want to leave the club now #swans https://t.co/oTSzih0LDG

So Brighton have a press conference at 4.30. In to the garden I go, with a large beer and even larger headphones. Let's concentrate on who's next for the #Swans. Another manager bites the dust, the fans are the heartbeat of the club and will remain loyal.
