Top 20 Managers of the EFL – 2nd: Daniel Farke (Norwich City)

Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke has been voted by you as the 2nd best manager in the EFL.

Over the last month, we have been gathering votes from you to find the best managers and players in the EFL. And after counting the votes, we have found that you think Farke is the 2nd best manager in the Football League. He is a new addition to this list.
Oh how this story could have been different. After a mediocre season last time out, Norwich didn’t get off to the best start this time around. This started the rumours circulating and many were wanting Farke out. And had the board listened, who knows what would have happened other than Farke ending up on a list about German managers that went to England trying to be the next Jurgen Klopp. Instead, Norwich fans were able to see one of the biggest mid-season transformations in recent times.
Norwich turned from a mediocre side capable of great performances into a great side capable of superb performances. Even though the media shined their focus on Leeds United and Sheffield United, Norwich’s form bettered both and they were able to sneak to the top of the Sky Bet Championship without anyone really noticing. From there, Norwich held onto that top place and never looked like budging even with the other two teams below playing so well. Now Farke will get to try his hand at Premier League football and perhaps then the media will notice how good he has been.
