“Dragged down 20 rows if he bags” Leeds United fans comment after Bielsa interpreter tweet

Marcelo Bielsa is a breath, nay torrent, of fresh air at Elland Road, as are the staff that have arrived with him. None more so than his interpreter Salim Lamrani.

Wherever Bielsa is, the trusted Lamrani is at his shoulder. With Bielsa finding it easier to form his wondrous ideas into meaningful words in Spanish, it is left to Lamrani to translate this stream of consciousness into English.

Leeds United fans have become accustomed to the softly-spoken Lamrani,  and think highly of him. Tonight, the respected academic and author surprised some Leeds United fans with the following tweet:

Izzy Brown was brought to Leeds United on loan, the Whites tasked with his recuperation from a serious knee injury. Their medical staff nursed him back to full fitness, got him on the pitch and firing for the Under-23s. Brown played a big part in the success of this side, scoring a few goals himself.

However, his time served in the Under-23s hasn’t translated to the first team, the Chelsea loanee featuring just once in a 10-minute spell in the defeat at QPR. However, does Lamrani’s tweet indicate that he knows something the rest of us don’t?

It’s definitely a tweet that has got Leeds United fans commenting, although the fervour with which they use social media would make commenting a given. Here’s some of the comments that Leeds United fans tweeted in reply.
