Nottingham Forest record another huge season ticket sales figure

Sky Bet Championship promotion hopefuls Nottingham Forest are thought to have sold over 4,000 season tickets for the 2019/2020 campaign on the first day of sales.

New Reds boss Martin O’Neill has brought fresh hope with him to The City Ground and fans have queued in their numbers at the club’s ticket office today to take up the opportunity to renew their season tickets for next season.

According to reports by Nottinghamshire Live, Forest sold 1,000 season tickets in the first hour of sales while over 4,000 have been sold in total throughout the day, a record for day one sales compared to sales figures in recent years.

It was only last summer that The Reds announced season ticket sales which were then ahead of previous years and that trend looks set to continue between now and August with the club having taken huge strides forward on the pitch this term.

Nottingham Forest pride themselves on being one of the cheapest clubs in the Sky Bet Championship to watch. Fans can buy adult season tickets from just £345 with the most expensive being £499. Tickets for young fans up to the age of 23 will not exceed £135 while children aged between four and 11 can watch the season’s action for just £30.

It is thought that around 20,000 bought season tickets for the current campaign. Over 18,000 had purchased their tickets before the season had kicked-off with the overall sales figures being boosted by mini tickets.
