He is a product of the Oldham Athletic Academy, and has earned his place as a first team player due to his performances during the 2017/18 season. He enjoyed a successful loan spell at AFC Fylde before being recalled due to injuries in the squad. He returned to the club and made 13 appearances for Latics and showed the defensive qualities he possesses and leadership in a young defence at times.
