Swansea City are looking at signing Middlesbrough and Denmark forward Martin Braithwaite on loan, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

Alan Nixon tweeted: “SWANSEA. Shock interest in Braithwaite at MIDDLESBROUGH. Could only afford a loan. Even then need couple of big hitters out.”
Martin Braithwaite began his career at Esbjerg fB, making his debut in 2009 and managed to score 17 goals in 88 games before moving to Toulouse in 2013.
He spent four seasons with the Ligue 1 side, he was a vital part of their side and never played fewer than 36 games in a season, making close on 150 appearances and netting 40 goals.
Last season, he made 21 appearances with current side Middlesbrough and he scored six goals. Following this, he joined Bordeaux on loan for the remainder of that season. Back in Ligue 1, he made 14 appearances and scored five goals as the French side finished sixth and qualified for Europe.

QPR went in front after winger Pawel Wszolek turned in from close range. George Saville volleyed in past goalkeeper Joe Lumley from the edge of the box.
But, striker Nahki Wells netted from Wszolek’s cross to extend Middlesbrough’s winless streak to four matches, and to add to this they have scored only three times.
