Reading’s England youth star on the radar of German Bundesliga clubs

German Bundesliga sides Borussia Monchengladbach, Hertha Berlin and VFL Wolfsburg are both considering moves for Reading’s England youth international Danny Loader, according to the Daily Mail.

A trio of Bundesliga clubs are looking to make a move for Reading’s young attacker Danny Loader. Borussia Monchengladbach, VFL Wolfsburg and Hertha Berlin are all believed to have scouted the youngster, and representatives from French club Lille were also in attendance as England Under-19s beat Moldova 4-0 in their European Championship qualifier.

The youngster also played an important role as England’s Under-17s won the Under-17 World Cup in India last year, scoring two goals. Loader has represented England at three youth levels, playing for the Young Lions at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 levels.

Despite Reading’s awful start to the season, hot prospect Loader has not made an appearance for The Royals this season, making the match day squad on just one occasion.

German clubs are starting to tap into English talent and bringing them over to the Bundesliga to develop them. The standout English star in the German Bundesliga is winger Jadon Sancho, whose brilliant form for Borussia Dortmund has seen him break into the England National team, making his full debut against the United States last night.

Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson is also enjoying himself while on loan in Germany, after joining Hoffenheim in the summer window. The 18-year-old has scored six goal in seven games in the League, as well as playing three times in the Champions League so far.
