Juventus wonderkid speaks out on possible January switch amid Leeds United rumours

Leeds United made a loan move for Juventus wonderkid Moise Kean in the summer transfer window, but a move failed to materialise and the striker has remained with the Italian giants.

However, links have re-emerged and Leeds United could return with a loan offer when the transfer window re-opens in January.

Juve opted to keep the Italian starlet with their senior squad for this season, despite sitting behind international stars Mario Mandzukic, Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite keeping him at the Juventus Stadium, Kean has played just 12 minutes of football, making one substitute appearance in the Champions League.

Amid the rumours, Kean spoke to Italian site Tutto Mercato Web to address the links, revealing that any decision regarding a loan move away would be down to the club, and not him.

“I don’t know yet. I am training and then the club will decide. I am learning so much by training alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, it’s a great experience.”

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have been suffering with injuries to several first team players this season, struggling with injuries in the striker department especially. Injuries to attackers Izzy Brown and Patrick Bamford leaves Kemar Roofe and Tyler Roberts the only fit senior strikers at the moment.

The Whites have been linked with other strikers in the January window, with Senegalese striker Mbaye Diagne – who was heavily linked with a move to the Championship club in the summer – starting the Turkish Super Lig season in strong form, and Marcelo Bielsa could return for the striker when the window opens again.
