West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Alex Palmer has signed for Oldham Athletic on an emergency loan, confirmed by the club website.

Daniel Iversen will join up with the Denmark u21 squad for their upcoming friendlies and will be unavailable to play in this weekend’s Sky Bet League Two match against Cambridge United.
And 2nd choice goalkeeper Zeus De La Paz, who remains out through injury.
The young goalkeeper will available to play this weekend’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Cambridge United.
Clubs are permitted to bring in a goalkeeper on emergency loan outside of the transfer windows if they have no fit senior keepers available.
About Alex Palmer –
He is an academy graduate at West Bromwich Albion and has moved his way up the goalkeeping pecking order over the last couple of seasons.
Alex Palmer has represented England at U16 level four times, with his most recent appearance coming against France in April 2012.
He is a regular in West Brom’s under 23 side and has made an appearance on the bench for the first team on a number of occasions.
He has also had consecutive loan spells at Kidderminster Harriers, making 11 appearances for the National League side before returning to his parent club with vital experience.
Recently, the young goalkeeper put pen to paper on a new contract at The Hawthorns which keeps him with the Baggies until 2019.
