Leeds United are a team that currently sit third in the Sky Bet Championship, Norwich City and Middlesbrough moving above them after today’s games.
The Whites themselves are in action with a tricky game against West Brom, the Baggies sitting seven places below them in 10th place in the table.
A win for Leeds will propel them back to the top of the pile, opening up a three point advantage over Boro and Norwich who currently are 1st and 2nd respectively. It seems a tough ask for the travelling Whites, against a side that are the division’s leading scorers.
Counterbalancing that though, they are a side that also concede, having only kept one clean sheet all season. Whilst the Whites will be unchanged in terms of the side that will hear the opening whistle.
Southampton would be stupid to not be thinking about Bielsa hints former Leeds United favourite:

However, it is on the bench where the latest Bielsa surprise has been cast with the inclusion of another highly rated youngster promoted to the first team. That youngster is Leif Davis.
18-year-old Davis only joined Leeds from League Two side Morecambe at the start of July, signing a three-year deal that will run until 2021. After a series of increasingly impressive displays for Carlos Corberan’s Under-23 side, Davis has caught the eye of Bielsa and is now included in his first match-day squad for the first team.
Of course, as with anything Leeds United, fans have been quick to seize on it and are commenting on the inclusion of the young left-back who has been granted the #40 shirt. Here’s a little of what they are saying:

Leif Davis on the bench…
Brave call from the Boss but if he’s been performing well in the U23’s (and he has) then why shouldn’t he and Players like him be called up to the Senior Squad??
Good line-up tonight too.#LUFC

Talk about a whirlwind rise for Leif Davis. Morecambe academy to #LUFC first team in a matter of months. They just keep rolling off the production line.
