Stevenage produced a comeback in-front of their home supporters as they beat Oldham Athletic 3-2, leaving Latics 17th League Two.
Frankie Bunn’s starting eleven consisted of Iversen, Hamer, Clarke ©, Edmundson, Hunt, Lang, Gardner, Missilou, Nepomuceno, Miller, Benteke.
The game got off to a frantic start, when Ishmael Miller had two chances inside the opening minute. His first shot from just outside the box deflected wide before the striker headed over from a dangerous cross at the near-post.
Following this, Latics winger Gevaro Nepomuceno crossed for striker Jonathan Benteke, who put a great opportunity wide.
Latics did take the lead as Gevaro Nepomuceno’s corner eventually landed to Ishmael Miller who shot on the turn low past Seny Dieng in the Stevenage goal (0-1).
Stevenage nearly responded instantly as Alex Revell’s header forced Daniel Iversen into a sharp save, pushing it over the bar following Hunt’s well-picked out cross.
Later on in the first half, the hosts equalised through Joel Byrom.
Experienced winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce crossed from the right and Daniel Iversen punched it away, but the ball fell to Joel Byrom on the edge of the box and his shot went in via a deflection (1-1).

The ever present Ishmael Miller tried to chip Seny Dieng from the halfway line and it nearly paid off as the ball just floated over the bar.
Dan Gardner floated in a freekick towards Latics captain Peter Clarke who headed just wide of the goal.
Latics went ahead again as Gevaro Nepomuceno drilled in a powerful cross for Callum Lang to bundle home (1-2).
Stevenage responded again, Newton providing the spark to drive the ball inside onto his left, having a shot which took a deflection into the air, Guthrie headed home his third in five games (2-2).
Steve Seddon then got in down the left-hand side and crossed into Dan Newton who headed past Daniel Iversen to give the home side the lead (3-2).
