Predicted Derby County starting XI against Chelsea

Derby County travel to Chelsea tonight looking to cause another shock after beating Manchester United in the last round. Here is a predicted starting XI for the Rams-

GK- Scott Carson- The experienced shot stopper is expected to start between the sticks for Derby once again.

RB- Jayden Bogle- The 18-year-old will be looking to bounce back from his own goal last time out against Middlesbrough.

CB- Richard Keogh- He will be hoping to keep the Chelsea attackers at bay tonight and tighten the Rams’ defence.

CB- Fikayo Tomori- He is on loan from Chelsea but is allowed to play against his parent club tonight. The youngster has impressed for Frank Lampard’s side this season.

LB- Craig Forsyth- The solid left-back has made his return into the Derby first-team this season following injuries woes.

CM- Tom Huddlestone- Derby are likely to start the former Tottenham Hotspur and Hull City midfielder for his experience of playing against top teams.

CM- Bradley Johnson- Another with the know-how of playing against Premier League teams, Johnson has played at Stamford Bridge before and won’t be phased by the task.

RM- Mason Bennett- The promising forward has been given his chance by Lampard this season.

CAM- Mason Mount- Like Tomori, the 19-year-old will be allowed to play against Chelsea tonight. Mount has scored five goals since his move to Pride Park.

LM- Harry Wilson- The Liverpool loanee has made a very impressive start to his loan and scored an incredible free-kick against Manchester United in the last round.

ST- Jack Marriott- He has started to find form and will be looking to cause Chelsea’s backline some problems.
