Chris Wilder considering changes for Sheffield United’s clash with Blackburn Rovers

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder could make some changes to his starting eleven for tomorrow night’s match against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

Sheffield United head to Ewood Park tomorrow night to play Blackburn Rovers – their second of three games in the space of seven days. Blades manager Chris Wilder is set to make changes to his lineup for the game, despite their frantic win against Millwall on Saturday, as David McGoldrick scored two late goals to send Blades back to Bramall Lane with all three points.

Wilder has no injury worries heading into the match, but still has selection dilemmas to deal with. He told the club’s official wesbite:

“We’ve no issues, it’s just going to be about us picking the right team for the next two games, starting with a difficult away trip on Wednesday night.

“Changes will be considered, and anything can happen from an injury perspective, although we’re very healthy at the moment.”

“Kean Bryan played for the U23s on Monday and only having Jake Wright unavailable is fantastic news and credit to a lot of hardwork that goes on behind the scenes.

“Hull play Tuesday, we play Wednesday, then we play Hull on Saturday, so I’ll be delighted to get these fixtures out of the way and hopefully accumulate a decent points return.

“We tried to construct a proper Championship squad in the summer for these types of scenarios and we’ve got competition across the whole pitch.”

Team news will be available from the club’s Twitter page an hour before kick off tomorrow night, with fans waiting to see who comes in as Wilder reaps the changes.
