QPR are targeting a late loan move for Toulouse midfielder Alexis Blin, according to the Evening Standard.
The London side are also interested in Aston Villa defender Tommy Elphick but will have to face competition from fellow Championship side Hull City to land him.
QPR’s new boss, Steve McClaren, has endured a tough start to life at Loftus Road but will be confident of success now after loaning Premier League strikers Tomer Hemed and Nakhi Wells from Brighton and Hove Albion and Burnley respectively.
They do not want to stop their summer recruitment there and are still wanting a couple more loan signings before the deadline at 5pm tomorrow. Toulouse midfielder Alexis Blin is the latest player to be linked with a move to the Hoops.
The 21-year-old is highly-rated by the Ligue 1 side and could leave them on loan for more first-team experience. Blin had spells as a youngster at La Bozoge and Le Mans before joining Toulouse in 2013. He has since played a total of 92 games in all competitions for them already.
Blin has also represented France at U17, U19, U20 and U21 level so far in his career. He would offer QPR another option and more energy in midfield. He would also add more competition to their current midfielders.
It is set to be an exciting last 24 hours in the loan window for QPR fans with the club working hard behind the scenes to get some players into the club.
