Stuart Dallas is now becoming a veteran on the international stage despite his age being nowhere near matching that title. He is a key part of the Northern Irish revolution under Michael O’Neill and it’s set to stay that way. His Leeds United team-mate Baily peacock-Farrell is new to the scene.

Dallas will almost certainly win another couple of caps for his country in the coming fixtures and Baily peacock-Farrell may well earn just his second for the national side. The young keeper has had a crazy six months in reality, after returning from a loan at York City which was deemed pretty poor he was thrust into the first-team by then head-coach Paul Heckingbottom.
Since then he has started every league game for the club, including new boss Marcelo Bielsa, handed the number one shirt at the club and has been recognised at international level, first for the under 21’s and now the senior squad for Northern Ireland. He will be competing against Michael McGovern and Trevor Carson for the shirt, and in all honesty he is best of the three, but I would say that.
Stuart Dallas need not worry about his place, but Leeds fans may worry about his fitness. He picked up an injury after the opening day win over Stoke City and hasn’t featured since. The issue is that Dallas has a bad record of picking up injuries on international duty, through no fault of his own or the national side, it’s just unlucky. He is a key part of Bielsa’s squad plans, being able to cover about five or six different positions on his own when playing or when on the bench.
