The past few days has seen Leeds United linked with players such as Reading’s Oliver Norwood, Aston Villa’s Albert Adomah and Everton’s Matthew Pennington.

Journalist Phil Hay tweeted this about potential Leeds United signings before the window shuts: “Don’t see them doing Woods. Cost too high. Besic also very expensive. Norwood has been looked at. Interest in Adomah is genuine. Club would like Pennington on loan but Everton might want him to play more games and Leeds can promise.”

Most recently, Leeds United have been linked with Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah. The winger is attracting a host of interest and especially interest from Leeds United, Adomah has less than 12 months left on his contract at Aston Villa.

Vydra’s capture would have been a massive coup signing for Leeds United, he has proven that he is a striker more than capable of hitting the back of the net in the Championship. Last campaign, he made 40 appearances for Derby County, and Vydra impressively scored 21 goals and notched four assists.
