Where Hull City need to strengthen and potential signings

Hull City are still in need of some signings before the transfer window ends. Here is where they need to strengthen and some potential signings-

Left-back-

The Tigers need to sign another left-back as back-up and competition for Stephen Kingsley. Scunthorpe United’s Conor Townsend has been a target throughout this transfer window but it looks like he is going to West Brom. Hull need to therefore set their sights on someone else. Everton duo Brendan Galloway and Antonee Robinson would be decent loan signings, in my opinion.

Midfielder

Hull should bring in another central midfielder to give Nigel Adkins more options in midfield. Brighton and Hove Albion’s Oliver Norwood, who spent last season on loan at Fulham, has been a target and the Tigers should go all out for him. The Northern Ireland international is a quality player at Championship level and would give Hull more creativity in midfield.

Winger

The Tigers have made it clear that they want another winger to provide more options going forward. They have had a bid turned down for Brighton’s Jiri Skalak but he looks to be on his way to Millwall. Hull should join the queue to sign Liverpool’s Ben Woodburn on loan. They had Harry Wilson on loan from the Reds last season and Woodburn could fill the gap left by his departure from the Hull squad.

Striker

It is no secret that Hull need a striker. Barnsley’s Tom Bradshaw has been linked and he would be the best option for them. He has scored goals at Championship level in the past and would slot nicely into their side. Kasimpasa’s Mbaye Diagne is another name that has been linked. The Senegalese international has got a great goal scoring record so far in his career. Other targets the Tigers should pursue are Bradford City’s Charlie Wyke or West Ham United’s Jordan Hugill on loan.
