Leeds United transfer target Abel Hernandez has been pictured with young CSKA Moscow fans at Moscow Airport, all but officially confirming that Marcelo Bielsa has missed out on one of his top transfer targets.
The Abel Hernandez transfer saga has been ongoing throughout the entirety of the summer transfer window, but the Uruguayan’s destination seems sealed after being pictured with fans at Moscow Airport yesterday evening. Leeds United have been keen to bring in the forward, but are set for further disappointment as another link runs cold.

Leeds United has entered talks with the 27 year-old at the start of the transfer window after he made it clear he would not be signing a new deal with Hull City. However, talks struggled to progress as wages and costs proved a significant stumbling block.
And while Leeds have failed to agree a deal, other clubs have swooped in for Hernandez. Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa and Wolves have all been linked with moves for the striker. Italy’s Cagliari and Turkish sides were also linked with a swoop for Hernandez, but Russia’s CSKA Moscow have emerged victorious in the battle to secure the signing of the pacey forward.
