Bryan began his career at Manchester City at the age of 11, and went on to captain the club’s development squad, where he was converted from a box-to-box midfielder into a centre-back.
A number of clubs in the English Championship are also said to be monitoring the centre-back’s situation.
The former Oldham loanee has just 12 months left on his Manchester City deal and would be able to move permanently.
Kean Bryan is very versatile as he can also operate in midfield but spent last season operating in central defence for Oldham Athletic .
He partnered Anthony Gerrard, the Rangers manager’s cousin, at the back for Latics.
Kean Bryan, who is aged 21, was named Young Player of the Year by Oldham Athletic after impressing hugely despite the club’s eventual relegation to League Two. He started as a box-to-box midfielder but transformed into a centre back, the youngster likes to use his strength in possession, vision and passing ability to influence the game from the centre of the park.
This summer, Steven Gerrard has already signed up Connor Goldson, Nikola Katic and Jon Flanagan to bolster his defence ahead of next season but will Kean Bryan join this list of talent?
