Swansea City name their price for the Ayew brothers – Liverpool, Fulham and Newcastle on high alert

According to Football Ghana, Swansea City have named their price for Ghanaian duo Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew, with the Swans looking for a combined £12 million.

A bid from Fulham of £8 million was rejected earlier in the window, but Swansea could be holding out for the £12 million mark, and will allow Andre Ayew to leave on loan.

The Swans paid £20 million last summer to West Ham for Andre Ayew to re-join the club he left in 2016, but now they could be prepared to cut their losses after relegation to the Championship. Newcastle and Besiktas are reportedly interested in a loan move for the forward,

Andre’s brother Jordan has also been the subject of interest from Liverpool, with the Reds enquiring about his availability. Also, Scottish champions Celtic are reportedly keen on bringing the striker to Celtic Park.

Swansea have already signed a striker in Joel Asoro from Sunderland for £2 million, and he could be seen as a cheap alternative to either of the Ayew’s, who are expected to move on from the Welsh club this transfer window.

New Swansea boss Graham Potter is not actively looking to sell either of the forwards, but a sale of either player would free up vital space on the wage bill.

Another who is reportedly on his way out of the club is Alfie Mawson, who has caught the eye of Sean Dyche at Burnley. The defender earned an England call-up last season, and was a shining light in the Swans’ Premier League relegation campaign.
