Why returning to Hull City would be the perfect move for Liverpool’s Harry Wilson

The race for Liverpool winger Harry Wilson is on with there being a big queue of Championship clubs to sign him. Here is why he should return to Hull City next season-

Proven there before-

Harry Wilson spent the latter half of last season on loan with Hull City in the Championship. The 21-year-old winger scored 7 goals in 14 games and helped them stay up in the second tier after a difficult start to the campaign. Wilson was comfortable with the Tigers and hit the ground running from day one. Therefore, he would adapt straight away to returning to Hull, under the same manager in Nigel Adkins, whereas at a new club it could take longer. Imagine how many goals he could score for Hull in a full season?

Guaranteed action-

He would be the main man at Hull again and would start every game. This gives him the freedom to go and play regular football which is what he needs at the moment and the reason Liverpool want to loan him out. If he went to a club like Stoke City, Middlesbrough or Swansea City, his first-team chances are not as likely to what they would be at Hull because they have more attacking options at their peril.

Young and Hungry-

Hull’s transfer policy this summer has been signing young and hungry players. Adkins has swooped to sign young players like Reece Burke, Jordy de Wijs and David Milinkovic. Wilson is a similar calibre of footballer to these and fits the bill. Liverpool will know that Hull looked after him last season and that Adkins got the best out of him. Therefore, the Tigers should be high up in the race to land him again in the next campaign.
