Sheffield United are looking for some depth to their goalkeeping position with Simon Moore and George Long looking set to leave the club, as reported by The72 earlier today.
Here are five ‘keepers they could sign to provide competition to Dean Henderson-
Connor Ripley, Middlesbrough- The 25-year-old is down the pecking order at Boro and could leave them this summer. The former England Under-20 international is a talented goalkeeper and has gained plenty of first-team experience during loan spells at Motherwell, Oldham Athletic, Burton Albion and Bury.
Boaz Myhill- The Wales international is a free agent after leaving West Brom at the end of the season. He is a vastly experienced goalkeeper and is an option for the Blades on a free transfer. Myhill spent eight years with the Baggies before leaving them last month.
Mark Oxley, Southend United- The Sheffield-born shot stopper has had an impressive last two seasons playing in League One with Southend and would be a great back-up option for Sheffield United. He has also previously played for Hull City and Hibernian.
Will Norris, Wolves- He joined Wolves last summer from Cambridge United but only played once for them in the league. His first-team chances with them in the Premier League next season are limited after they have signed Rui Patricio. Therefore, the Blades could swoop for him this summer.
Lee Camp, Cardiff City- The 33-year-old spent the latter part of last season on loan at Sunderland and could leave Cardiff again this summer. He is an experienced goalkeeper at this level and is another option for Sheffield United.
