It has been a difficult couple of days for Leeds United, as several potential transfer deals appeared to collapse.
However, they have received some good news today, after a reliable journalist confirmed that one of their top transfer targets would prefer to stay in England rather than move abroad.
Abel Hernandez left Hull City after his contract at the Sky Bet Championship club expired, and it had seemed that he was set to complete a move to Russian top flight side CSKA Moscow.
However, Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Evening Post has tweeted today confirming that Hernandez wants to stay in England rather than venturing abroad.

Leeds United have been interested in the former Hull City striker for a number of weeks, but their pursuit of him appeared to fade as they stepped up their chase for Derby County forward Matej Vydra.

The news that has come out today provides Leeds with a new sense of optimism that they might actually be able to land an experience goalscorer in the form of Hernandez.
