Nottingham Forest are on fire in the transfer window and the most recent deal, a £6 million coup for Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban has other clubs turning their heads. With all the incomings at the club there is certain to be some heading the other way, Armand Traore one linked.
So far Forest have been running riot in the UK market and from Europe and it’s fair to say that expectations are rising at the City Ground. Forest have been hovering around in the Championship for a long time now, the Football league can be like that, it doesn’t bow to history or a large fan base and they aren’t the only ones.
Aston Villa are finding things tougher than ever after relegation from the Premier League and Leeds United, like Nottingham Forest have been lurching around the lower leagues for more than a few years. As it is Leeds have managed to persuade Marcelo Bielsa, the man dubbed the best coach in world football by Pep Guardiola to take over at the club.
Armand Traore is now being linked with a move to Turkish club Antalyaspor. The Turkish side would certainly pay a pretty wage as most of the clubs do at the top-level of football in that country. Traore is a decent player at Championship level but hasn’t always been a starter for Forest and has fallen out of favour under Aitor Karanka.
Armand Traore spent the second half of last season at Cardiff City and did win promotion with the Welsh side but it hasn’t been enough to help him force his way back into the plans of Aitor Karanka. The Spanish coach has been changing things up at Forest since his arrival and come the opening day of the season his team will almost be unrecognisable.
