“Shocking!!!”- Millwall fans react to their new home kit

Championship side Millwall have released their home kit for the upcoming 2018/19 campaign on their official Twitter account.

The new strip is inspired by the Lions’ 1993/94 season when they came third in the old First Division (now the Championship) under Mick McCarthy.

Millwall will be hoping for a similar campaign next season as they look to build on their impressive 2017/18 season in the Championship. Their boss, Neil Harris, had his side well organised and hard to beat and they finished just outside the Play-Offs.

The Lions have so far bolstered their squad with the signing of Scunthorpe United defender Murray Wallace. The Scottish centre-back is the only player to walk through the entrance door at the Den so far but is a decent acquisition for Harris’ side who are looking to maintain their water-tight defence next season.

More deals are expected to happen at Millwall over the coming weeks as their fans look forward to the next campaign. They will be disappointed about missing out on the signing of Ben Marshall, who impressed on loan with the London side from Wolves last season, but he opted to move to fellow Championship side Norwich City on a permanent basis instead.

Here is how Millwall fans have reacted on Twitter to the release of their new home kit-
