Leeds United could look towards completing several signing in coming days

The Yorkshire Post is reporting that Leeds United have been looking at several transfer targets which they appeared to have settled on after weeks of debating over signing them and the club are finally making moves in the window.

It is thought that some more deals could take place for Leeds United this week since the club announced the surprise signing of Lewis Baker on Saturday could be set to take place this week with deals a number of transfer targets nearing after weeks of negotiations and speculation over a number of different players future.

Chelsea’s Jamal Blackman has been identified as a goalkeeping target and the West-Yorkshire club look set to bring the keeper to Elland Road after enquiring about his services. Leeds seem stuck at a crossroads with any deal over Birmingham City goalkeeper David Stockdale and look set to bring Blackman back to Yorkshire after he spent last season on loan with Sheffield United.

The club look set to sign a striker this week and the clubs search for a forward seems stuck on three clear options at the minute, Abel Hernandez, Matej Vydra and Carpi FC forward Jerry Mbakogu.

It’s thought Leeds could actually make a move for Mbakogu who is now available for £1.6 million although their main attention is still thought to be with Derby County forward Matej Vydra and free agent Abel Hernandez.

It’s likely we’ll see some more announcements from Leeds United during the next week and it’s fair to expect Jamal Blackman and possibly Vydra to end up at Elland Road this week – should the clubs business go as planned.
