Leeds United fans woke up this morning to the news that they will be taking on highly-fancied promotion contenders Stoke City in their first game this season at Elland Road – much to the excitement of a number of Leeds United fans – although there has been some apprehension to the announcement.
The fixture list can either be seen as a cruel or kind to fans of a club. A run of ‘easier’ fixtures can help a team to gain momentum whereas a ‘tough’ month can disrupt form and have a huge impact on a teams season.
Here, we can look and see what Leeds United fans seem to think of their fixture list for the upcoming season:
Someone tell Bielsa to disregard the fixtures cos we’ll end up on sky for half of them anyway. #lufc

Looking at our opening fixtures Heckingbottom would’ve been sacked by September anyway #lufc

#lufc scary first month of fixtures they could be a baptism of fire for Bielsa, hopefully he gets some points on the board but i have a bad feeling about it
