If all rumours were true, football fans would be consistently over the moon and Leeds United would be bouncing over walls at the minute with some of the high profile names they’ve been linked with.
Twitter has seen the likes of Claudio Bravo, Fernando Torres and Jack Wilshere all mentioned as targets for Leeds United – despite the fact it’s increasingly unlikely Leeds United would be able to bring any of these players to Elland Road.
The idea of Fernando Torres leading the line at Elland Road is something fans dream of or the idea of Jack Wilshere holding a spot in the centre of midfield at Leeds United appears to be something fans would love to see – however these are only likely to be dreams for the time being, unless Leeds United really can create something special at Elland Road this season and tempt some of footballs finest to come to West Yorkshire.
If Leeds United were to adopt Bielsa’s famous 3-3-1-3 formation, they could line up like this – although it would seem incredibly unlikely that the West Yorkshire club would be able to bring in some of these high profile names.
Head Coach: Marcelo Bielsa
Goalkeeper: Claudio Bravo
CB: Kyle Bartley
CB: Pontus Jansson
CB: Luke Ayling
RCM: Adam Forshaw
CM: Jack Wilshere
LCM: Ronaldo Viera
CAM: Samuel Saiz
RW: Abel Hernandez
ST: Fernando Torres
LW: Matej Vydra
That would be an impressive team and would more than likely stand a great chance in the Premier League – but sadly rumours are only rumours, and there’s nothing more that can be said for them then fans can only hope.
