Lewis Grabban, AFC Bournemouth – The Cherries striker scored 20 goals in the Championship last campaign and had a contrasting two halves of the campaign. He netted 12 goals for Sunderland during the first half but he joined Villa in January and scored 8 goals, helping them to the Playoff Final. Grabban is a man with heaps of Championship and Premier League experience who could certainly replace the void left by Vydra.

Jack Marriott, Peterborough United – Despite being tracked and monitored heavily by a host of Championship clubs, Marriott is definitely somebody Frank Lampard should be looking at. The Posh striker was the top goalscorer throughout the Football League last campaign as he netted 27 goals in a fantastic season. After impressing in League One, Marriott has all the attributes to make the step up to the second tier.

Tammy Abraham, Chelsea FC – The Chelsea man found it difficult on loan at Swansea last season, as he struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League. However, Abraham excelled during a loan spell at Bristol City during the 16/17 campaign where he hit 23 goals for the Robins. The 20 year old could benefit from another spell in the second tier and his experience could be key for the Rams next season. With Frank Lampard’s contacts at Chelsea, Derby could pull off a loan deal for the striker.
