Leeds United face difficult decision on striker signing

Reputable journalist Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Evening Post has tweeted suggesting that the West-Yorkshire club have to decide whether they want Abel Hernandez or Matej Vydra – with Vydra supposedly Leeds United Head Coach Marcelo Bielsa’s preference.

The West-Yorkshire club have some big decisions to make in the coming weeks as if the striker they choose to bring in flops, fans will wonder what could have happened – had the other have been signed.

To say that both strikers are options for Leeds United highlights the optimism and excitement around Elland Road at the minute, considering the fact that the club has struggled in recent years since it’s relegation from the Premier League in 2004.

Both Vydra and Hernandez are very likely to want to move to Elland Road to work with Bielsa who is renowned for his attacking, exciting brand of football and his personal style of play has been applauded by the likes of Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pocchettino.

We’ll see which striker Leeds United move to sign in the coming weeks, but if either does make the move to Elland Road, they’d be fantastic acquisitions for the Championship outfit for next season.
