Three exciting outsiders for Leeds United job

Leeds United’s search for a new manager is well underway following the departure of Paul Heckingbottom earlier this week.

Heckingbottom was sacked on June 01 after failing to turn around the club’s poor form, and reports have already surfaced linking the Whites to a number of big names from the footballing world.

It seems that Marcelo Biesla is the outright favourite, with the former Argentina and Athletic Bilbao manager being made odds on with the majority of bookmakers.

However, there are a few other exciting names on the list of potential new managers at Elland Road.

We have had a look at Bet Victor’s shortlist, and picked three of the most exciting names on that list:
Zinedine Zidane – 66/1:

It is HIGHLY unlikely that Zinedine Zidane resigned from his post as Real Madrid’s manager to become the next Leeds United boss, but he has been given odds of 66/1 to take over at Elland Road. He may be new to management, but he certainly showed everyone what he could do, winning the Champions League three times in a row with Real Madrid, before resigning earlier this week.

Arsene Wenger – 50/1:

The Arsenal legend left the Gunners at the end of the 2017/18 season as he was looking for a new challenge, and few challenges are bigger than getting Leeds United back into the Premier League. He is as experienced as they come, and whilst the chances are that he will not want to drop down a division and manage in the Sky Bet Championship, he has very little to lose by going to a club like Leeds.

Juande Ramos – 33/1:

Juande Ramos is an extremely well known manager, and has in fact been mentioned by Leeds United before about possibly becoming their new manager. He is currently without a job after leaving Spanish side Malaga back in 2016, but boasts the likes of Real Madrid, Sevilla and Tottenham Hotspur on his list of past clubs.
