Three players Norwich City should sign this summer

It’s been a disappointing first season in English football for German boss Daniel Farke. His Norwich City side lie 12th in the table when they were expected to push for promotion. Here are 3 signings that could bolster their promotion charge next campaign:

Jack Marriott, Peterborough United – The Posh forward has been in fantastic form this season, notching 27 goals over the course of the league campaign. He joined Peterborough from Luton at the start of the season and has been unstoppable since. He was nominated for League One’s Player of the Year but lost out to Bradley Dack. Posh won’t want to lose their star man so the Canaries will have to pay a big fee. However, with it looking increasingly likely that James Maddison will be sold, Norwich will have money to spend. The Yellows have struggled in front of goal this season, and Marriott can help cure the goalscoring woes at Carrow Road.

Sam Byram, West Ham United – Norwich have struggled in the right back area this campaign. Both Harrison Reed and Ivo Pinto have been jostling to start over the past few weeks. Pinto has failed to live up to previous seasons this time out and Reed will go back to parent club Southampton. Byram has fallen out of favour at West Ham and hasn’t played much under David Moyes. He has experience of playing in the Championship with Leeds and could start a fresh chapter in Norfolk.

Nahki Wells, Burnley – Wells joined Sean Dyche’s side last summer for £5m but has failed to establish himself at Turf Moor. He was a big part of Huddersfield Town’s promotion to the Premier League last season and scored 44 goals in his 3 year spell at the John Smith’s Stadium. The Bermudan International is now 27 and is at a stage in his career where he needs to start playing regularly. With Nelson Oliveira reportedly on his way out, Wells could flourish under Farke.
