Hull City striker completes move to Los Angeles FC

Hull City striker Adama Diomande has signed for Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC, according to their official website.

The 28-year-old is out of contract with the Tigers in the summer and will make the move to America. He will reunite with his former Stabæk manager Bob Bradley at LAFC.

Diomande joined Hull City in September 2015 for £1.7 million and was signed by Steve Bruce. He has never been a first-team regular for the Tigers but was part of their 2016 Championship promotion squad in his first season at the club.

He played 30 games for them in all competitions last season and scored 4 goals and in this campaign he has only featured for the Tigers on 19 occasions, scoring once.

Diomande had spells at Lyn, Skeid, Hodd, Stromsgodset, Dynamo Minsk and Stabæk before moving to England. He has also made 10 caps for Norway.

The move to the Major League Soccer is a good one for Diomande and Hull fans would have expected him to move on due to his lack of first-team action at the KCOM Stadium.

There have been some memorable moments for Diomande in a Hull City shirt, including his overhead kick against Leicester City on the opening day of the Premier League season in the last campaign. Hull fans will certainly keep an eye on his progress in the MLS and hope he does well for LAFC.
