Wolves after Inter Milan striker

Reports in Italy are linking young forward  Andrea Pinamonti with a summer move to Championship winners Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 6ft 4in striker has come through the academy ranks at Inter Milan and has represented Italy at most youth levels.

The 18 year old has made three appearances for the Inter first team, but has yet to register a goal during his time at the San Siro.

In a scout report of the youngster on Outsideoftheboot.com, Dan Davis describes Pinamonti as someone who has “quick movement in the offensive positions around the field of play make him a player who is very difficult to mark,”

“Pinamonti’s strongest trait is his keen eye for goal, and the movement on and off the ball which allows him to create chances for himself.” Davis adds.

Pinamonti made his senior debut for Inter Milan on 8 December 2016, aged 17, against Sparta Prague.

He has been a regular scorer for the Italian development sides and has netted on 20 occasions.

“The Italian is also noticeably tall for his age, leaving him with exceptional ability in the air.” says Davis.

” His keen eye for goal means that he is able to use his height in various attacking situations, allowing him to nod home past the goalkeeper on many occasions.”

Pinamonti will be a welcome addition to the Wolves team, and will be a useful option for Nuno Espirito Santo.

With Benik Afobe and Leo Bonatini loans expiring, Piamonti would add some competition to the front line and bolster Wanderers attacking options.
