Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Bradford City defender

West Bromwich Albion and Burnley are keeping tabs on Bradford City left-back Jeremie Milambo, according to HITC Sport.

Championship strugglers Sunderland are also believed to be keen on the youngster as they look for potential signings to help bolster their squad for next season.

The 17-year-old left-back has impressed for Bradford’s under-18’s this season and is being tipped for a big future in the game. He has come up through the youth ranks at the Bantams.

His development has not gone unnoticed by some bigger sides and Bradford are preparing for interest in him in the summer.

Burnley are a side who are reportedly interested. They have had a very impressive season under Sean Dyche in the Premier League and may see Milambo as a player for the future.

However, the Clarets will face competition from him from their top flight rivals West Bromwich Albion. The Baggies are struggling in the Premier League and are looking like they will be relegated to the Championship this season. This has not stopped the rumours circulating though and they may still see Milambo as someone to bolster their defensive options.

The new Bradford City boss Simon Grayson is believed to be a big fan of Milambo and many are tipping him to break into their first-team over the next season or two. They will face a battle in holding onto him now though.
