Five players Bolton Wanderers could lose for free in the summer

Phil Parkinson has been doing a great job with Bolton Wanderers this season after a really difficult start. Here are five players he could lose for free in the summer-

Ben Alnwick- The 31-year-old goalkeeper has made the number one spot his own at Bolton Wanderers this season. The Trotters’ fans will be hoping that they can tie him down on a longer contract as he could leave them at the expiry of his deal in June.

David Wheater- The experienced defender will be a free agent in the summer as it stands. He has been with Bolton since 2011 having previously been at Middlesbrough. Losing Wheater on a free transfer would be a big blow for Bolton.

Darren Pratley- The 32-year-old has been at Bolton since he signed for them in the Premier League from Swansea City in 2011. He could leave them in June having played just under 200 games for them to date when his current contract expires.

Sammy Ameobi- He is one who Bolton fans will be praying is offered a new contract. He has been in fine form for them this season and has been a hit with the fans. The former Newcastle United attacker seems to have found his home at Bolton.
