Walsall Football Club have today parted company with manager Jon Whitney, following a 2-0 defeat to Shrewsbury Town. Here are five potential managers to replace Jon Whitney at Walsall –

Uwe Rosler – The ex Manchester City forward could be a great coup for Walsall, he recently departed Fleetwood Town but guided the club to 4th in League One last season, just missing out on a promotion to the Championship. Previously, he has guided Wigan to the Championship play-offs and the semi-finals of the FA Cup. And he guided Brentford to within minutes of automatic promotion to the Championship on the final day of the regular 2012-13 season.
