Following the news that Stuart McCall has been sacked by Bradford City, there have been a number of names immediately thrown in the hat for arguably one of the biggest managerial positions in League One.
The general consensus on social media appears to be that Bradford City have made a terrible mistake sacking McCall. The club legend has enjoyed a remarkable amount of success since returning to Valley Parade for the fourth time in his life with the Bantams only spending three games outside of the playoffs during his most recent tenure. A run of six losses in a row, coupled with what has been suggested as a ‘strained’ relationship between himself and the clubs owners appears to have unfortunately called time upon McCall’s second and most likely, final time as part of Bradford City’s managerial team.
