You could argue that Anita was one of the signings of the summer for Leeds United when you consider his pedigree playing top-flight football in both the Netherlands and England’s top-flight divisions making a combined total of 242 appearances in both the Eredivisie and Premier League.
Furthermore, Anita has the capacity to play at right-back, left-back and in his favored central-midfield spot. This sort of versatility will be incredibly useful over the course of the season when injuries and suspensions will undoubtedly kick in for Leeds United.
Also, he was a free agent. A great piece of business.
