Last night Sheffield Wednesday drew at home to Simon Grayson’s Sunderland. The game ended 1-1 which means Carlos Carvalhal’s side are still looking for their first win in the Championship this season.
Sunderland took the lead early on. Aiden McGeady’s cross found George Honeyman who hammered home much to the delight of the travelling Sunderland fans. But with twenty minutes left Sheffield Wednesday found an equaliser courtesy of a stunning David Jones strike. Neither team could find a winner, and it finished 1-1. Let’s see how Sheffield Wednesday fans reacted to the draw on Twitter.

People going overboard on both sides about last night. Far more positives than negatives, but still issues to address #SWFC

At times we’ve been critical of Reach but I’d be the first to say, yesterday was more like it. MASSIVE performance by him #swfc

Dave Jones scores a screamer and Adam reach was my man of match. Am I dreaming? #swfc

First half we looked disjointed and slow, but as soon as we went 4-3-3 it clicked. Reach, Bannan and Hooper were class second half. #Swfc
