The agent of Danny Batth has said that there has been no contact made by Leeds United over the signing of his client.
Reports emerged yesterday suggesting that Thomas Christiansen was interested in bringing the Wolves defender to Elland Road, but a reliable journalist has confirmed that this is not the case.
Originally, Joe Rawson tweeted saying that Wolves had confirmed there had been no approach for their central defender.

However, just a matter of hours later, the same journalist stated that he had spoken to the agent of Danny Batth, who had stated that Wolves had made no enquiries for the defender as of yet.

It seems that the reports yesterday were literally just rumours, with both the club and representatives of the player saying that no negotiations have taken place.
Of course, this is not to say that the interest is not there, and Leeds may still consider a bid for the Wolves man.
And it is fair to say that they need a central defender. Last season, Pontus Jansson and Kyle Bartley formed a solid partnership at the heart of the Leeds defence, but the latter has since returned to his parent club Swansea City.
When it comes to second tier defenders, there are very few who are as experienced as Danny Batth.
Batth is actually the club captain at Molineux, and he featured in 39 Sky Bet Championship games for the club last season.
These added to his total number of appearances in that league, taking the total number up to 134.
