There’s something magical almost about the kit launch from any club, and that is certainly the case at Elland Road with Leeds United.
Today is the day that was feted to be that day for Leeds United, and it was clear by the following tweet that anticipation was to be the key leader here for Leeds United fans.

Robbo’s quote pretty much sums up the feeling that Leeds fans have as the kit launch approached. Those butterflies of anticipation flutter around, grown men almost becoming like little children awaiting the approach of Christmas Day.
Unfortunately that Christmas Day wait will now become a Boxing Day celebration, the following news from Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani confirming that.
Sorry to alI. We had to postpone the new kit launch to tomorrow …one more day but I am sure you will all like it a lot !

Waiting for something is agonising at times, especially more so when you get to the day that what you are waiting for to arrive and a delay is announced.
As would be expected, Leeds United fans do comment on Radrizzani’s announcement of the delay, but the replies are laced with understanding.
No kit launch – Leeds United fans respond to news
Don’t worry about it Andrea, just make sure the saiz is right 😛

Bit of humour used in the above tweet – maybe this Leeds fan Saiz-ed the opportunity.
Is that so our new incoming signings can model them.

For this Leeds fans it’s a case of whether there’s an ulterior motive to the postponement – new kit = new signings maybe? The following Leeds United fan has more specific requests as to the modelling.
Can we have Kyle Bartley and Tom Lawrence modelling it please?

Below is another Leeds United fan who is looking at an ulterior motive being behind the delay.
Ah waiting for Sáiz to arrive in from Miami. Good thinking Andrea 😉 #lufc

These fans think that Radrizzani’s announcement is indicative of the person that he is, a change from the ethos of the club before.
See this is what you want as an owner, someone who interacts and helps the fans. Doing a top job @andrearadri

At last we’ve got a owner who keeps supporters informed MOT.

It seems that the nagging suspicion about ‘new signings’ will not go away.
Would not surprise me massively if there is a signing Or two in this kit launch. Might be wishful thinking but we will see

Imagine the limbs and scenes if the following were to prove to be true.
You do realise we may actually break Twitter when Saiz and Bartley walk out in the new kit 👍🏼
— Steve Kinsey (@YorkshireDublin) July 5, 2017
Finally, it seems that the consensus of fan reaction is that delay = new kit + signing announcement.
All will be revealed tomorrow.
