Leeds United owner gives massive hint to two target transfer progress

Andrea Radrizzani has given Leeds United fans something much more important than the repurchase of Elland Road since last season ended. Something much more.

Yes the repurchase of Elland Road is massive, a huge statement of a man getting his cojones out and saying ‘look, I promised and delivered’. What Leeds United fans have now is a growing sense that the club is being looked after properly after the Bates to GFH Capital to Massimo Cellino charade.

At last Whites fans seem to be enjoying a club that is breaking free of the shackles imposed by former owners. In a sense the club in becoming almost unfettered and not restricted by its recent past. Fan engagement is being actively encouraged by the club, as an part of what the club is and what it represents – rather than as an appeasing sense of lip-service.

Players have been brought in to the club, five at the moment, and rather than selling starlets, Radrizzani has tied down Ronaldo Vieira to a four-year deal. There is much positivity around LS11 and Elland Road at the moment, so much so that Leeds fans are in a state of spoiled bewilderment.

There are even transfer deals in the pipeline, the biggest two said to be for 12-goal Spanish forward Samu Saiz, currently at La Liga 2 side Huesca, and 16-goal/14-assist Macedonian speedster Azgjan Alioski, who is currently an FC Lugano player.

There have been recent doubts as to whether these deals are still ongoing and current, with reporting of incidents arising from them seemingly dropping off some. It is that sense of stalling that caused the following Leeds fan to tag Radrizzani on Twitter with the following statement/tweet.

Now Radrizzani must be the most tagged Leeds United owner/employee of recent times with fans continuously tagging him a variety of posts from which players to go for, to posts advising him how to run the club. And every variety of post in between.

But the Leeds owner rarely replies, but to this one he did do with the following Tweet.

Now take Radrizzani’s reply any way you like, but it more than seems to indicate that not only are the current deals that are playing on Leeds fans minds still on, there is also reason for Leeds fans to hang on to their hope. With Leeds fan Mark saying “both the transfers”, he can only be talking about Saiz and Alioski.

As Bon Jovi once sang: “Keep the faith, Lord we got to keep the faith.”
