As every season comes to an end, and the build up to the next season begins, the obligatory conversation between friends about whose team is going to have the best transfer window is at the forefront of every football fans mind. However another area of discussion which sparks huge debate is whose team will have the nicer kits for the upcoming season.
Many clubs opt for huge marketing campaigns to reveal their new kits to their fans, and often spend lots of money perfecting their advertising and videos to surprise them.
Aston Villa released their new kits earlier today, and in contrast went for two basic images, showing a selection of players wearing the home, and a selection wearing the away.
This is how fans reacted to the reveal.
These fans really like the new kits

However there was divided opinion, as some fans didn’t like the look of the new kit, and had a lot to say about the new shirt sponsor “Unibet”.
Shame we've gone for a betting sponsor in my opinion. Gambling is an addictive curse in Society & many players suffer dreadful consequences.

Another gambling site, another kit that kids can't wear. So much for a family club. I'll stick the the ones I have.

The most overwhelming response from fans however was the fact that John Terry wasn’t pictured revealing the new kit.
Villa have been linked with the Ex-Chelsea captain for most of the summer, and many of the Villa Park faithful thought that the kit release would be an ideal opportunity for the club to announce the signing of Terry.

Although the fans seem divided about the new kits, one thing they wont be divided on is wanting success for the club this year. ‘The Villians’ struggled to adapt to life in the Championship last year, finishing well below par in 13th place.
The loyal fans will be looking for a much better season this time around and will expect no less than a promotion push.
