Five Premier League youngsters who could go on loan to the Championship

4. Ryan Kent

The 20-year-old winger spent all his youth career with Liverpool and has been on loan twice to the Football League.

The wide man enjoyed a loan spell with Coventry City in the 2015/16 season in League One. Kent made 17 appearances for the Sky Blues and scored just the one goal for the side.

Since his loan to Coventry City, the midfielder enjoyed a year of frequent football with Barnsley in the Championship last season. Kent featured 45 times for the Tykes, scoring three times.

With the midfielders success in the Championship last season and the competition for wide places at Anfield, it’s highly likely that he will return on loan to the division. With Kent picking up Barnsley’s young player of the season award, it’s clear he is enjoying his time in the division and if he was to spend one more year in the league, he may have the experience to move into the Reds’ first team.

Another loan spell at Barnsley or a move to a big club such as Sheffield Wednesday would benefit the midfielder greatly.
