The Spurs youth product broke into the First Team last season, making 19 appearances. The England under-21 international could also benefit from a spell out on loan. With Spurs’ midfield currently led by the experience of Christian Eriksen and Eric Dier, it will be a hard task for the talented youngster to get back into the starting line-up regularly.
The 21-year-old suffered an injury to his ankle ligament in April in a game at Burnley. With the midfielder needing time to return from his injury, a loan spell would offer him much-needed game time at a highly competitive level.
Winks would fit in perfectly at a club like Norwich. Former Spurs youngster Alex Pritchard is earning raving reviews at Carrow Road and with the East Anglian club’s large fan base and target of reaching the Premier League, it would suit the midfielder perfectly.
