Three managers Sunderland could potentially employ

Sunderland have been without a manager ever since David Moyes resigned back in May and there’s some real uncertainty surrounding the club in recent months. Here are five managers Sunderland could potentially employ to help steady the ship.

1) Alan Pardew

Alan Pardew has been out of a job since Christmas 2016 when Crystal Palace sacked him. Alan Pardew has a good record in the English second tier. In the 2002-03 season, he guided Reading to a 4th place finished in Division One (now known as the Championship). In October 2003 he resigned as Reading manager to become the manager of West Ham United. In the 2004/05 season, his first full season at West Ham, he won promotion with the Hammers. They beat Lancashire club Preston North End 1-0 in the Championship Play-Off final.

Alan Pardew is currently 11/1 with Sky Bet to be the next Sunderland boss.
